nojetlagTerms of Use
1. Acceptance of terms — By accessing or using nojetlag.io (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. Continued use of the Service after any modification of the Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
2. Description of the Service — nojetlag.io is an informational web tool that generates a personalized circadian protocol (sleep windows, light exposure, caffeine and meal timing) based on the flight parameters you provide (departure and arrival airports, and optional times). All computation runs client-side in your browser; no account or registration is required.
3. Not medical advice — The content and outputs provided by the Service are for general informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, psychological, nutritional, or professional advice of any kind. Please read our Disclaimer for the full scope of this limitation.
4. Eligibility — The Service is intended for users aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not designed for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
5. No account required — You may use the Service anonymously. We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal contact details in order to generate a plan.
6. Permitted use — You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes such as planning your own travel or that of friends and family. You may share links to the Service, quote short excerpts of blog content with attribution, and print the plans you generate for personal use.
7. Prohibited use — You agree not to: (a) scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Service without prior written permission; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service beyond what is expressly permitted by applicable law; (c) resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service; (d) misuse or overload the public MCP endpoint, the API, or the infrastructure (including denial-of-service attempts, automated abusive requests, or bypassing rate limits); (e) use the Service to build a competing product; (f) misrepresent the origin of the plans or hold them out as medical advice; (g) upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any content that infringes third-party rights.
8. Intellectual property — The Service, including the website design, the underlying algorithm that generates the circadian plan, the copy, the blog articles, the illustrations, the source code, the trademarks and logos, is and shall remain the exclusive property of nojetlag.io and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in such intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. User inputs — You retain any rights you may have in the flight parameters you enter (airport codes and times). Because these inputs are processed only in your browser and are not stored on our servers, we do not claim any ownership over them.
10. Third-party content and links — The Service may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or products (including blog references and affiliate links). We do not control such third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' own terms.
11. Affiliate disclosure — Some outbound links on this Service are affiliate links (for example, but not limited to, Amazon Associates). If you click such a link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence our editorial recommendations, which are made independently. 12. Availability — We do our best to keep the Service available, but we provide no service-level guarantee. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure incidents, or events beyond our control. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, without prior notice and without liability to you.
13. Changes to the Service — We may update the algorithm, the recommendations, the design, or the content of the Service at any time. Plans generated before a change may differ from plans generated after that change, and previously generated plans do not entitle you to any continued behavior of the tool.
14. Disclaimer of warranties — To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the plans generated will produce any particular result, that the Service will meet your requirements, or that it will be free from errors, bugs, or interruptions.
15. Limitation of liability — To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall nojetlag.io, its operators, contributors, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal injury, or any damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law (including, where applicable, liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
16. Indemnification — You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless nojetlag.io and its operators from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
17. Force majeure — We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network or power outages, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction — These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that consumers may have under the law of their country of residence.
19. Severability — If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
20. Changes to these Terms — We may amend these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available at this URL. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably possible. Your continued use of the Service after publication of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
